Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present a common unique fixed-point theorem for six self mappings in complete metric space using weaker condition such as weakly compatible and associated sequence in place of compatible mappings and completeness of the metric space. More over the condition of continuity of any one of mapping is being dropped. Our result generalizes the results of Singh and Chouhan [19], Fisher [4], Lohani and Badshah [13], Sharma, Badshah and Gupta [18].
