About Jensen’s inequality and Cauchy’s type means for positive C0-semigroups

Abstract

A Jensen’s type inequality is obtained for a semigroup of positive linear operators and a superquadratic mapping defined on a Banach lattice algebra. The corresponding mean value theorems conduct the authors to find a new set of Cauchy’s type means.
