On quasiconvex metric spaces

Abstract

We introduce the notion of quasiconvexity in metric space in this paper. Some fixed point theorems in this newly introduced space are also formulated and proved. Our results are significant extension of some fixed point results of convex metric spaces and metric spaces in literature.
